Kyriaki Konstantinidou
Kyriaki Konstantinidou is Senior Researcher at the Swedish Institute at Athens. She studied Classics at Thessaloniki (BA) and Cambridge (MPhil), before completing her PhD on ancient Greek curses at Nottingham. She has held research positions at Freie Universität Berlin, Umeå University and Uppsala University, and has taught Classics at various universities. Kyriaki is particularly interested in Greek religion, space, identity and emotions, as well as the fictional and non-fictional lives and practices of ‘marginal’ and oppressed people in ancient Greek literature and culture. She thinks that their fascinating stories should be made accessible to everyone through the use and expansion of digital tools and applications.
